Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson announced that the White House Crypto Summit didn”t include him on March 7 even though Cardano”s ADA token was part of Donald Trump”s cryptocurrency reserve plan.

Hoskinson announced on March 6 that he had no White House invitation before the scheduled event. According to him:

“We did not get an invitation on Monday. We did not get an invitation on Tuesday. We did not get an invitation today on Wednesday. So I’m going to operate under the assumption I have not been invited to go to this gathering.”

Hoskinson Focuses on Legislation, Not Summits

People in crypto circles now argue about why Cardano CEO Charles Hoskinson wasn”t invited to Trump”s digital asset reserve event when ADA plays a main part in this proposal alongside Bitcoin, Ethereum, and others.

Cardano”s creator showed no signs of being affected by his exclusion from the guest list because he did not think the occasion mattered much. The legislative body remains the appropriate setting for policy talks as he possesses steady interactions with legislators.

Hoskinson maintains his support for stablecoin and market structure laws by working through Congress. He preferred operating through official US laws not major public gatherings.

Leading figures from the crypto sector confirmed their attendance even though Hoskinson is not taking part. The lineup includes Michael Saylor as MicroStrategy Executive Chairman alongside Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong and Kraken executive Arjun Sethi, and Robinhood co-founder Vlad Tenev.

Hoskinson Unaware of ADA’s Inclusion

Trump will use this gathering to explain his crypto reserve idea even though information about this proposal remains limited. Since his exit from the presidency the former president has started connecting with crypto experts to show his support for the digital asset market.

Hoskinson learned about ADA”s inclusion in Trump”s crypto reserves through public news announcements despite not witnessing it beforehand. He fails to explain how ADA received a spot in the crypto plan before it was made official. According to him:

“We knew nothing of ADA being selected for the reserve. It was news to me. I woke up on Sunday, looked at my phone, and I had over one hundred fifty messages saying congratulations, great job, and I had no idea what the heck was going on.”

The crypto space waits for more policy talks while showing industry split about who decides cryptoforeign regulatory standards. Instead of attending the summit Hoskinson wants meaningful crypto changes to result from official legislative action.
